Telescopic doors are often specified for the main entrance of retail parks, hospital atriums and civic buildings, where a standard sliding door would need more wall space than the design allows. We help specifiers choose between single and bi-parting layouts, and between two or more panels per side, based on the clear opening required and the space available.

It drives sliding doors with two or more overlapping panels on each side. The panels slide over each other, giving a wider clear opening than a standard sliding door of the same wall width.

Are telescopic doors single or bi-parting?
Both are possible. Single telescopic doors open to one side and bi-parting telescopic doors open from the centre.
